Still Stone Privacy Policy
Versions 1.0 / 1.1 · Updated September 24, 2026
Scope
This policy covers Still Stone 1.0 and 1.1, provided by the developer identified on its App Store product page (“we”). It also describes information you choose to send when contacting support and the separate handling of requests to this website.
No personal information required to play
Still Stone requires no registration or sign-in. Version 1.0 has no advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs. Gameplay in version 1.1 still works offline, but Firebase Analytics sends usage data when a network is available, as described below. Complete local saves, tower layouts, and individual result archives are not uploaded; level numbers and score summaries are included in the analytics events described below.
Information stored on your device
The app stores language, sound and haptic settings, level progress, best results, an unfinished tower, and free-stack history locally. Each campaign win also records a local player identifier, a run identifier, dates, active duration, individual placements and grades, rule versions, and revival-status information used to distinguish results. These identifiers link local records; they are not advertising identifiers and are not sent in our custom analytics events.
Usage analytics in version 1.1
Version 1.1 uses Firebase Analytics from Google to understand level difficulty and gameplay flows. The SDK may automatically collect an app-instance identifier, identifier for vendor (IDFV), app version, device model, operating system, language, region, launches, and sessions. Our events also record the mode, level number or daily template, starts, resumes, exits, outcomes, active duration, score, stone count, placement grade counts, and whether a revive was used. Analytics data is sent to Google. We do not send local player or run UUIDs, individual stone placements, or local save archives, and we do not link an advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. See the Google Privacy Policy for more information.
Retention and deletion
Campaign completion records remain on your device and replaying does not overwrite earlier runs. Free Stack keeps the latest 30 ended runs, with the best result stored separately. There is no account or developer-hosted cloud save. Deleting the app removes its local app data, but does not automatically erase analytics events already sent to Firebase Analytics. Copies in system backups may remain according to your Apple device and iCloud backup settings; consider your backup needs before deleting the app.
Permissions, advertising and rankings
Versions 1.0 and 1.1 do not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, photo-library, or cross-app tracking permission. Neither version has advertisements, in-app purchases, online friend rankings, or account synchronization. If a future feature changes how information is handled, we will update the policy and any required permission flows for that version.
Information you send to support
When you contact support, we receive the contact details, message, screenshots, or device and version information you choose to provide. We use it to handle your request, respond, and investigate the issue. Please avoid sending unrelated personal or sensitive information. We retain support information only for the time needed to handle the request or as required by law. You may use the same support channel to request access or deletion.
This website and third-party services
Visiting this website is separate from playing the offline game. The hosting service may process network logs such as IP address, browser information, and request time to serve the site. Existing site styles use Google Fonts, so loading fonts sends requests to that service. Apple handles App Store downloads, system diagnostics and device backups you enable under its own policies. We do not sell game data.
Children and security
The app has no chat, user-content publishing, or account profile forms, and does not actively request personal information from children. We take reasonable measures to protect support information we receive. Please protect access to your own device and backups.
Changes and contact
We will update this page and its effective date when this policy changes. For common gameplay and local-data questions, see the support page.
